examiner.com – 2011 Hardflip by Skipstone Pictures Review
This film will touch everyone in a different way. Geared more for the family, but with a sport’s spin to grab the attention of today’s youth.
Hardflip touches on some of the more sensitive issues that teens face in today’s society such as drugs, and rebellion. We find Matthew Ziff, one of Hollywood’s top celebrities under 25, playing Jerry the younger brother of the Antagonist, Ryder, played by Jason Dundas of Australia. Hardflip brings in some of the top skateboarders from around the world. Christian Hosoi, and Brian Sumner give an amazing performance and show us some tricks that they had never even attempted before this film.
